ABOUT THE STUDIO

At Pearle School of Burlesque, we celebrate the art of dance and self-expression. Our origins stem from a passion for empowering individuals through movement, fostering a welcoming environment for all skill levels. With our enthusiastic team, we ensure an engaging experience that promotes personal growth.

This business was started by Louisville’s own Venus Pearle in September of 2023. Venus has danced for over 20 years, and started her burlesque journey in 2013 with local troupe, the Va Va Vixens. Having noticed the lack of training open in the town with so many people wanting to get started in the industry, Venus opened this school to be an inclusive and encouraging place for individuals to start or continue their education in their burly journey. Within the first year, Venus has watched it already grow beyond expectations and become not only a dance studio for burlesque training, but also a studio encouraging growth and wellness in people’s lives no matter if they plan to take the stage. Pearle cannot wait to see what is in store for the future, and hope that you will be part of that journey!
